About ACT

Advanced Compliance Technologies, LLC (ACT) was formed in 2002 by Mr. Al Gillum, a recognized expert in Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Programs.  Since its inception, ACT has played a significant role in establishing the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) programs. ACT continues to flourish, based on its founder’s vision, and currently functions as a woman owned company that provides leadership and expertise to BSA and AML programs.

The company was vital in assisting a known government agency in instituting a high-level BSA Program, an industry standard.  It assisted with the promulgation of regulations, organized training for thousands of government employees, and established a comprehensive program to ensure the capture, entry and analysis of pertinent data. ACT also established an audit function to ensure compliance with established standards.  The Team accomplished all of these goals and quickly brought online the BSA program.  The program’s accomplishments have been recognized by the Justice Department and have also received an Award for Excellence in Information Technology from Government Computer News.
